IEP Direct Login Guide

Overview

IEP Direct supports special education teams with IEP drafting, meetings, and compliance tasks. Since the product sits within Frontline, users may see Frontline branding during IEP direct login. This guide covers sign-in, setup, recovery, SSO, quick fixes, and security. Keep it simple, follow district rules, and save the key links for faster daily access.

Sign in Process

Go to the Frontline sign-in hub or the official IEP Direct login page.  Click Sign In after entering your password and username.  These days, district ID is typically not needed.  Save the preferred URL for your district to your bookmarks.  To help new hires find the link during hectic weeks, staff members should keep it in a shared folder.

First-time access

District administrators create accounts.  Use the temporary password for your initial IEP Direct login, and when prompted, create a new one.  Verify your block and district.  Calendars, forms, and reports related to your role will be loaded on the dashboard.  Before the next meeting, test a sample task and review permissions.

Single Login

SSO is enabled for IEP direct login in many districts.  Select SSO and enter your work credentials to authenticate.  It might be necessary to use a VPN in order to connect to the identity provider if you are far away.  Try the typical username and password path if SSO doesn’t work, then get in touch with your administrator to find out how things are going.

Retrieving credentials

In the sign-in page, at the Forgot link, you can not remember the information, so you should click on the Forgot. To restart, type the email that is related to your account and follow the instructions. Saved passwords may not be filled automatically and thus need to be typed in. Look in your spam and ask an administrator to check the address and then resend it in case the email is not received.
