Overview

PSTrax is used by fire and EMS teams to manage vehicle, equipment, station, supply, PPE, SCBA, and narcotics checks. This quick guide explains pstrax login from start to finish: where to sign in, how to reset access, and simple tips that keep crews ready and records audit-friendly, every single day.

Official login page

Go to the official pstrax login page at app1.pstrax.com. You will see options to Sign In with SSO or use a username and password. Save the link in your browser favorites for faster shift starts. Need help fast? Use help@pstrax.com or call 888-330-6006. Bookmark the URL on tablets.

First-time access

Your administrator provides a username and temporary password. On first sign-in, enter both, click Sign In, then create a new password when prompted. If your agency has multiple stations, select the correct station to load your checklists and alerts. After setup, you arrive on your home screen for work, daily.

Single Login Process

In order for members to use work credentials, many departments enable SSO.  Select Sign In with SSO from the pstrax login page.  Administrators have the option of requiring SSO for users or permitting conventional passwords.  A VPN might be required to securely connect to the identity provider for authentication if SSO fails outside of the station.

Retrieve your credentials

Are you not going to remember your information? On the Pstrax login area, choose the Forgot your username or password option. Once you enter the email related to your account and send it, you are supposed to get a message telling you to reset your account. You can confirm your address with an administrator before re-attempting it or tell an administrator that it is not in your inbox. Now repeat the process of logging in.

Following login

Crews perform rig checks, use barcodes to track supplies, record PPE and SCBA events, and use signatures to manage controlled substances after logging into Pstrax. Reports draw attention to flaws and expirations so that maintenance can take appropriate action. The web application, compatible with both desktops and tablets, assists crews in updating records as they move between bays and rooms.

Quick troubleshooting Practices

  • The URL and spelling have to verify.
  • Empty the cache, re-open the browser.
  • Failure of SSO off site, connect to VPN.
  • Request an adm to verify permissions.
  • In case of outage or locked accounts, call help@pstrax.com or 888-330-6006.

These steps solve most of the access problems in minutes. In case problems persist, use a different device or a different network.

Security best practices

Sign out on shared kiosks, avoid sharing, and create unique passwords.  When possible, choose SSO since identity policies have the power to impose stricter regulations.  Limit station PC auto-fill and frequently update browsers.  These fundamentals safeguard accounts, expedite Pstrax login, and promote compliance throughout the agency’s daily audits and external reviews.

Handy reference

See the Knowledge Base for more in-depth assistance with SSO setup, user management, password recovery, and login.  Modules, vehicle checks, and introductions are all covered in the training videos on the official YouTube channel.  If new hires and float staff save these links, they can finish the Pstrax login processes faster and without interruptions during busy morning briefings.
